YOU can make a difference!

What if No One Answered the Call? Volunteering for the Lebanon Fire District is rewarding and can provide you with training and skills that will last a lifetime. We cover all areas of emergency response such as fire, EMS, water rescue, hazmat, rope rescue, building collapse, and urban search and rescue. After completing your Recruit Academy, training drills are held weekly.

Pick up an application packet at Station 31 – 1050 W. Oak Street, or use the employment application link on the left.

Provide the District with a copy of your driving record as well as a Criminal History Background Check. This can be obtained by contacting the Lebanon Police Department. They will complete a fingerprint card for you which you will mail to Oregon State Police. (Forms available at our Main Station – 1050 W. Oak St.)

After review of your application, driving record, and criminal history/background check, you will be contacted by the Lebanon Fire District for an interview.

Applicants successfully completing the interview process will be required to pass the Physical Agility Test.

After successful completion of the above, applicants will be required to attend the Recruit Academy. The Academy requires five weekends of training and is currently offered twice a year, once in the Spring and once in the Fall.
